The homeowners in Lake Oswego had a vision: clean lines, long-lasting materials, and natural elements that would blend with the home’s modern exterior. They needed a solution that would create privacy without feeling too heavy, and they wanted the execution to be precise. We focused on bringing that vision to life with a blend of custom fabrication and premium woodwork that reflects the home’s architecture.
We built a “good-neighbor” style fence using tight-knot, clear cedar, galvanized steel posts, and a powder-coated steel gate frame. Every detail—from the stainless steel fasteners to the two coats of bronze stain—was selected for durability and appearance. Behind the scenes, the gate received custom fabrication with a keyed locking handle for extra function. A matching slat fence was fabricated on site, combining steel tubing and angle iron with clear cedar pickets for a refined, fastener-free surface. Even the drill press layout was planned for a uniform, symmetrical finish.
One of the standout features of this project is the custom-built garage door. Using 1×4 clear cedar tongue and groove to mirror the home’s siding, the door blends right into the exterior—nearly invisible when closed. The final space has an intentional, elevated look. Each fence, gate, and cedar detail now ties together with the home, delivering privacy and structure without sacrificing beauty.
